Cherry Wine Sauce

Description Thanks to Heidi V. for sharing this rich sauce. It goes well with poultry, such as grilled chicken breasts. Ingredients 1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon minced onion ½ cup red wine 1 ½ cup low sodium chicken broth 1 cup Bella Viva Dried Rainer Cherries 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 tablespoon water ¼ teaspoon salt Instructions Put 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of minced onion into a saucepan. Melt and cook until onions are tender. Add ½ cup of red wine and 1 ½ cup of low sodium chicken broth. Simmer until mixture is reduced by half in volume. Add ½ cup

Sandra’s Dried Fruit Brisket

Description Thanks to Ann M. of New York for providing us with this rich and savory dinner recipe. Ingredients: Double piece of brisket 1 cup water One onion, sliced 2 beef bouillon cubes ½ cup red wine Salt and pepper 1 ½ cup of your favorite Bella Viva dried fruits, soaked overnight. Instructions Heat up some cooking oil in a pan and brown both sides of the brisket. Use the same pan and add the wine, simmer until reduced. Put the brisket in a roasting pan, add sliced onion on top and then pour the beef stock and reduced wine over it. Cover tightly
