Bella Viva Orchards Citrus Garland

Supplies (for one 6-foot garland):

24 Bella Viva Orchards Dried Orange Slices
24 Bella Viva Orchards Dried Lemon Slices
24 dried bay leaves
12 cinnamon sticks
Soft jute twine (from craft store or hardware store)
Large upholsterer’s needle (large enough to fit the twine through the eye)
Scissors

Steps:

1.    Cut jute twine into an 10-foot length. Thread one end of twine through the needle.

2.    Thread one Dried Orange Slice, one Dried Lemon Slice and 3 bay leaves onto the twine. Push to the end until you have one foot of twine remaining. Tie a knot to secure the first Dried Orange slice to the twine and hold the remaining pieces in place as they’re added to the garland. Once secure, tie the twine in a knot around one cinnamon stick. Thread three more bay leaves. This is the pattern you will follow until you have used all the Dried Orange Slices, Dried Lemon Slices, bay leaves and cinnamon sticks.

3.    Once you have created a garland of your desired length, end with one Dried Orange Slice and one Dried Lemon Slice. Tie the last Dried Lemon Slice with the twine to secure the end, leaving one foot of twine at the end.

You should end up with a garland measuring about 6 feet in length. If you want a shorter or longer garland, just thread fewer or more sets of the citrus, bay leaves and cinnamon stick sets until you reach the desired length, tying off the first and last citrus slices to secure the garland. Drape over doorways, windows or mirrors. Make a bunch and adorn your entire home!
